Very clean and well-kept. Fine if you are looking for easy access to London, will be out all the time and need purely a base at which to sleep. Barely room to open your suitcase but the bed is comfortable and lighting good. Pricey for what it is, but I suppose most of that is due to the excellent location.
La ubicación es excelente, el desayuno abundante y completo. La habitación es pequeña y acogedora y limpian todos los días, el único inconveniente el cuarto de baño, es pequeño, antiguo, todo el cuarto de baño es una ducha y acabas mojándolo todo.Llevaros gel y champú.
Die Heizung funktionierte nicht, was die Hotelleitung bereits wußte. Nur auf Anfrage wurde eine elektrische Heizung zur Verfügung gestellt

El Albion Hotel está muy cerca del metro King´s Cross, muy buena comunicación porque pasan muchas lineas de metro. Habitaciones pequeñas pero cómodas, el aseo es sencillo y recomiendo chanclas. Todo esta limpio y el personal es amable. Desayuno: tostadas, cereales, zumo y fruta, no esta mal.

Bed and breakfast molto comodo e pulito. Ha una posizione ottima dato che in 30 secondi si è a King's Cross dove passano svariate linee della metro. Nessun problema di ingresso anche a ore più strane perché si riceve anche la chiave del portone e le chiavi non vanno lasciate in reception. La camera è molto piccola ma pulita. Punto debole la colazione che è davvero misera.
Das Hotel hat eine exzellente Lage - unweit der King`s cross station. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr, sehr klein.Das Frühstück war enttäuschend. Ich kann das Hotel für einen Londontrip aber trotzdem empfehlen.
very small room, very hot, top floor with no lift. Only one towel each which were very small. Breakfast poor, we didn't even bother the second morning, and we had to wait for people to leave before we could sit as the breakfast room was so tiny.

Sehr kleine Zimmer, kein vernünftiger Platz für TV auf dem Zimmer. Frühstücksraum fanden wir erst nach fragen in einem anderen Haus. Ansonsten für den Preis und London sehr okay.
la camera era carina, pulita ma veramente piccola,le foto ingannano!!!!!!!!!!!! per non parlare del bagno davvero troppo piccolo e con la doccia sopra il vater, cosicchè o ti lavavi o andavi in bagno!!!ma dopo la tua doccia nessuno poteva entrare perche ovviamente era tutto bagnato!! colazione nella norma ma sala un po' piccola soprattutto la domenica, anche perche è comune a più alberghi. buona la posizione sia per il metrò che per i bus
The reception staff is very nice and helpful, and made no complaints even when we showed up at around 2.00 am. Room was however not what we expected from the photos, but since i've been loads of time to london i've never found an hotel up to photos'expectations. breakfast was good, but the dining room was very small, and here the staff was quite unprepared and cleaning tables/serving took them plenty of time. overall, this wasn't too bad.

Les toilettes et la salle de bain étaient gelées (problème d'isolation ?) sinon la chambre était douillette et l'hotel à 20 secondes de la gare.
Excellent, quiet yet central location making it an ideal base for a short stay.
Habitación 27. Es pequeña pero suficiente y práctico. Muy limpio. Parece todo nuevo. Cama confortable.
Pulizia al top (sia per quanto riguarda la camera e il bagno)e grande cortesia. la stanza un pò piccola però per il resto tutto bene. la zona è perfetta perchè si è a soli 50metri dalla stazione e dalla metro. da sottolineare anche il fatto che si è circondati da piccoli negozi di alimentari e da pub e ristoranti a buon prezzo (sempre considerando che si tratta di londra). da sottolineare anche un piccolo e pulito parco difronte l'hotel dove si può tranquillamente fare uno spuntino in tutta tranquillità.

Ziemlich kleine Zimmer mit Waschbecken, Bett und LCD-TV in sauberer, ruhiger Lage. Altlondoner Baustil. Über den Flur jeweils separat Dusche und WC (3 Zimmer teilen sich diese). Angabe über Doppelbett in der Zimmerangabe wäre hilfreich gewesen ggf. könnte dies ein ja-/nein-Buchungskriterium darstellen. Für 2 Übernachtungen ausreichend. Bei längeren Aufenthalten würde ich auf andere Angebote zurückgreifen. Frühstück einfach (Kaffee, Milch, Saft, Tee, Cornflakes, Müsli, Toast, Käse, Jam - vergleichbar mit einigen Hostels) aber ausreichend für den Tagesstart.
Proximité de King's Cross station vraiment utile. Le logement en lui même est de bonnes qualité.
el desayuno es muy escaso y pobre,la habitación es correcta aunque diminuta al igual que el baño. Lo único a resaltar es la localización , centrico y bien comunicado
Chambre avec 1 lit double est extremement petit... a peine la place de mettre les valises! La salle de bain commune est très propre ainsi que les toilettes. Un accueil correct. Le petit déjeuner est assez sommaire mais satisfaisant, pour des jeunes. Une équipe sympatique et à l'écoute. Bon hotel à par l'espace de la chambre qui reste trop petit à mon gout, mais qui est suffisant si ce n'est que pour un temps limité.
Hôtel trés bien situé, rue calme avec parc et à proximité de la gare ST Pancras et métro Par contre chambre, SB et WC dans le dédale aménagé du sous-sol:bas de plafond,peu lumineux,peu accessible et surtout bruyant (rames métro)

El alojamiento responde perfectamente a la información suministrada por vosotros. Muy buena situación, ya que el metro King Cross es el que mejores combinaciones tiene. Lo más sencillo es el desayuno, pero correcto.
Sehr gute Lage zu Kings's Cross, ruhig, Zimmer ok, v.a. mit Kühlschrank sehr angenehm. Kritikpunkte: abgerobbter teppichboden auf Treppe und Gang und sehr liebloses Frühstück, kaum Auswahl, nicht sauber, Damen sprechen fast kein Englisch..
Everything was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, kinda smelled like wood, but a good budget hotel.
Very nice tiny hotel. Simple but immaculate. Newly repaired obviously. Simple breakfast but fits with the price :) Comfortable location. 3 min to get to the Kings Kross tube station on foot. Logement propre, mais très petit. Parfaitement bien placé (proche d'une bouche de métro et d'une gare pour se rendre à l'aéroport). Petit déjeuner et accueil décevants.

Hotel was in a good location. 5 minute walk to the underground station. Walking distance to many an eatery and pub for food and drinks. Room was a tad small and tight like all hotel rooms in London. DO NOT bring luggages that are too big. Travel light if possible if you want to stay at this hotel as room space is very limited. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Only disappointment was that the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Otherwise excellent!
Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht, haben jedoch nur ein 1.40m Bett vorgefunden, was nach gängigem Verständnis nicht wirklich ein Doppelbett für zwei ausgewachsene Personen ist, somit waren wir nicht ganz zufrieden. Wir haben auch reklamiert, hat jedoch nichts gebracht, da das Hotel anscheinend voll ausgebucht war. Frühstücksraum war sehr klein für die Anzahl Zimmer von dieser Hotelgruppe - somit kam es täglich zu Personenstaus, auch dadurch gegeben dass nur eine Person für Aufräumen/Bedienen vor Ort war.

it was good value for money but the bed size was smaller as well as room; but i think you cannot do much as the constructed rooms were smaller

La sistemazione è comoda,pulita e vicino a tutti i mezzi unica pecca è la colazione scarsa e scomoda visto che si deve andare in un altro albergo li vicino i locali sono piccoli e c'è sempre coda.
la camera è davvero piccola, ma nuova e confortevole.
El hotel está muy bien ubicado, las habitaciones y el hotel en general están en excelentes condiciones, todo muy limpio!!. El unico detalle es que las habitaciones son extremadamente pequeñas y además no se pueden abrir las ventanas, es un poco asfixiante y claustrofóbico, todo se solucionaria si la ventana no estuviera clausurada. El desayuno está muy bien, todo fresco y de buena calidad!!
Great location. Breakfast is very poor. The breakfast room is so diminutive you feel the other guests' breaths across the table (I'm not joking). It's also served by ONE person only (!) who incidentally cannot speak English. There's no reception so if you need help with anything you're stuffed! Very strange bathroom - it's so small the shower is right underneath the loo and it all gets very wet indeed. There's virtually no room even for the luggage. The cleaning girls turn up very early and you feel that you've got to make a move rather than them wait for you. CHECK OUT IS AT 10:30AM!!!! Totally absurd. London is such crap for accommodation - it's so expensive and the service often so poor. This hotel is hardly an exception.
It was a pleasant little hotel/BB, our problem was finding it, if we had known to get off at King's Cross and where it was in relation to the tube it would have been easier. Breakfast was a bit early(done at 0900)but adequate.

Small but nice!
Unser Zimmer war klein, aber sauber.Auch WC und Dusche waren immer sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach. Es sind nur wenige Schritte zur nächsten U-Bahn- bzw. Busstation. Von dort sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen.

Good located, friendly people, clean and quiet. But too much mobey for a too little bed and a economic breakkfast.
The location at a few minutes walking distance from King's Cross subway station is ideal. The room was very small but definitely clean and very simple but functionally well furnished. The bed was narrow but júst good enough for two persons. We had asked for an additional blanket in the morning but did not find it in the evening. For visiting London a few days I would go there again. If I was to stay longer I would look for something else.

la sistemazione è discreta,un po' piccolo ma abbastanza pulito,l'ubicazione è buona, nota negativa sulla colazione che viene fatta per piu' alberghi in una unica cucina con pochi posti e bisogna fare la coda, anche la quantità di cibo è scarsa.
La foto raffigurante alla camera con 5 letti da noi prenotata non corrispondeva alla camera che effettivamente ci è stata consegnata. Questa è risultata MOLTO più piccola di quella riportata nella foto (le cui dimensioni ci avevano spinto a prenotare un'unica stanza con 5 letti.....).
El hotel es barato y agradable, aunque extremadamente básico en sus instalaciones.

Un peu déçu car le restaurant ne contient qu'une 15aine de places assises, on a du faire la queue et attendre que les personnes déjeunant partent. Dass hotel ist für London und mit dem Preis leistungs verhältnis betracht echt gut! Zimmer sind sehr klein, die Dusche und die Toilette recht sauber. Da das Hotel sehr Zentral und gut erreichbar liegt, für Städtereisen, zu empfehlen.
I've stayed with this group of Hotels previously and only ever have one complaint really (except that the bathrooms are SO small - dont forget to remove all absorbable things you dont want getting wet from it before you shower!!) and the complain is this! PLEASE can't you put up notices inside each room (back of door would suffice) and at several places on staircases that simply say... "Please be respectful of other guests when returning to your rooms late at night and if you leave early mornings" in French, Italian, German and English. The noise as always was unbelivable each night, after midnight, and people always slam their doors early morning when leaving. Wouldnt take much now would it.
Nice and cosy hotel with friendly staff. Small but comfortable room. Perfect location to discover london with best connections to the tube from kings cross. Though we had a room to the frontside it was very quiet. Breakfast is in another hotel a short walk down the street.
Zu teuer für das was es war. Verstopftes Lavabo, keine Möglichkeit Badetücher aufzuhängen, keine Möglichkeit Koffer auszupacken, sehr klein, Duschbrause kaputt, unfreundliche Reception, Morgenessen etwas dürftig. Lage war perfekt und ruhig für eine so grosse Stadt.
Room was cute, cosy and clean although really tiny and without a wardrope. Breakfast is really lousy! Anyway the staff was (mainly) really friendly and area peaceful yet close to everything.

close to an important underground. Calm (in front of a square). Breakfast really poor (only toasts, tea or coffee...). bedroom very small but good enough for a young couple.

Das Hotel hat meine Erwartungen total erfüllt. Es war wie beschrieben komplett neu renoviert und modern eingerichtet.Einzig zu beanstenden ist, dass wir im obersten Sock unser Zimmer hatten und dort der Wasserdruck in der Dusche nicht immer ganz ausgreicht hat und die Wassermenge aus dem Duschkopf sehr schwankte von normal bis sehr wenig Wasser, was sich aber dann nach ein paar Augenblicken wieder Normalisierte.

accueil très froid.Mauvaises indication concernant la reception et petit déjeuner situés chacun dans deux bed and breakfast différents(autour du même square) Cependant,petit déjeuner copieux et chambre propre mais salle de bain non chauffée. proximité avec la gare très pratique et possibilité de laisser ses bagages à l'hôtel après avoir rendu la chambre très pratique également.
En general bien,ubicación en zona tranquila, residencial y muy bien comunicado, estacion de metro a 200 metros. Las camas para 2 personas un poco pequeñas.
La habitación no es muy grande pero esta limpia, lo mejor es la situacion ya que esta a 150 metros aprox. de la estación de St. Pancrass y King Cross. El unico inconveniente es el baño que es minusculo y que las toallas no las cambian todos los dias.
he excelsior hopel is in an ideal location as it is is literally next to Kings Cross station where you can get to every part of London. The hotel was bright and clean and the staff were very friendly. I would definately return to this hotel.

Also die Unterkunft war sauber und in einer ruhigen aber super zentralen Lage. Die Ubahnstation war auch nur ein paar Meter weg. Was uns gestört hat das Zimmer war sehr klein, im 4. Stock, Rollo war defekt, TV hatte nur 4 Programme und 2 davon bei schönem Wetter mit Empfang, zum Frühstücken mussten wir 2 Straßen weiter in den Keller, typisch englisches sparsames Frühstück.... für die kurze Zeit war es aber ok.

room was big, warm and confortable. the beds were amazingly confortable (double all). the bathroom did not have heater thats the main problem, it was very cold when u wanted to go, I would repeat staying there.

It was not made clear to us that reception for the Excelsior Hotel was actually in the Melville next door. So the welcome was not great as no-one who answered the door could tell us where to go. Although the owner told us that he had made this clear on the website - it either had'nt been put on or I had'nt noticed. I think a simple sign on the door would have been better. Anyway, that said, very clean if small but good value for money.
